Arunima Singh, a former national level volleyball player made history by becoming the first amputee Mount Everest climber in the world. She is a true example of strong determination and will power can earn. She’s an inspiration to all those who give up upon facing the smallest of hurdles in life. She was awarded the Padma Shri in 2015, the fourth highest civilian award of India and has many more recognitions to her credit.
