Dr. Jyoti Lamba, Gujarat
While on an educational tour with her students, Dr. Jyoti Lamba realized that the villages did not have a single toilet. Upon going back to the university, she was given a chance to undertake a project to build toilets in the village and she made the most out of it. She has built about 6000 toilets in the villages of Gujarat and sometimes she even had to shell out from her own savings.
